Spider's Super Silk

Spider's silk is lighter than cotton, yet ounce for ounce they are stronger than steel. Dragline Silk is the strongest of the seven silks that spiders spin; it is tougher and more waterproofthan silkworm strands which are commonly used for clothing. If enlarged to the size of the football field, a web of a dragline silk can stop a jumbo jet on flight!
